Mobile Loaves And Fishes
Mobile Loaves And Fishes (MLF) is coming to Nashville. Alan Graham, director of MLF and I will meet this Thursday. Then this Sunday he will be speaking at Vanderbilt, in the Benton Chapel, about his program. Afterwards, we will be going out in his Nashville Mobile Loaves and Fishes truck on it’s inaugural feeding run.
At first glance the program looks like a good thing. But, of course, I’ll reserve my judgment of it until I have a chance to check it out in more detail. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Homeless Tales- My Friend, Bob December 8, 2009Bob is a regular guy who probably had little more to say to a wife than “What’s for dinner?” I don’t hold that against Bob. I am only trying to say that he is free of pretense, easy-going, able to laugh at nothing, and very likable for these reasons. I admit it: I like Bob, [...]Kerry Echo

- The Great Kazoo Hunt December 3, 2009After all our serious discussions I thought I’d put up a light-hearted blog. So today {November 1st 2009} the Soopers were off to Steve’s Music Store, the Home of the Rock ‘n’ Roll world. The staff were very friendly to us. We mucked about in the percussion department for a couple of hours. There were even seats for [...]MetisRebel
- On Doubt November 27, 2009Some days, I just don’t know if I can do this. I get lost in the minutiae of trying to organize agendas, calendars, dates, webpages, workarounds, emotional crisis, learning musical parts and generally trying to keep this leaky ship from capsizing on the rock of its own dysfunctions. I admire Jack Tafari. He shepherded Dignity Village from [...]MetisRebel
