Wells Fargo Commercial: #HashtagLunchbag

Oh wow, I just saw this for the first time. A corporate commercial showing people feeding the homeless in a park! Edgy, and progressive. A good move on their part. And you cannot deny that this shows a corporation supports such causes. Well Done Wells Fargo.

  1. Very good point, Kevin. I do see that technique often in ads; either way, kind of a shady way to advertise.


  2. I don't believe that the homeless represent a big enough share of the financial market for them to matter. This is more of Wells Fargo trying to associate it's name with warm fuzzy feelings – like when Pepsi make a commercial showing a kid playing with puppies.


  3. This just seems like a way to get the homeless to use banks by proxy.
